About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced and confident Vehicle Technician to join our busy and growing workshop. This role is suited to a skilled mechanic who can competently take on major jobs, work independently, and consistently deliver work to a professional level and keeping jobs times within the industry standard. You will be joining a friendly, hardworking team in a fast-paced environment where quality workmanship and efficiently are valued.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Repair and replacement of engines

• Carrying out cambelt and wet belt replacements confidently and accurately

• Clutch replacements and associated transmission work

• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults efficiently

• Full vehicle servicing and maintenance

• Using logical fault-finding and strong problem-solving skills

• Completing repairs to a high standard with attention to detail

• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with industry standards

• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace

• MOT Tester, not essential but would be a bonus.

 

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be able to complete the above job description

• Strong background in cambelt, clutches and engine repairs

• Multiple years experience

• A full clean UK driving licence

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

• MOT Licence (not essential)
